Does an american citizen need a visa to reside in kuwait ?

hello, well i'm in love with an american girl, i'm egyptian, and we both agreed that we will live our new life in kuwait and get married, so i'm asking if she needs a visa to stay in kuwait with me, and if she has to, how much does it cost ? or she can just buy a one-way ticket to kuwait and that's it ? as i heard from some of my friends that she can go anywhere she wants without a visa, and that she can stay as long as she wants.... thanks in advance and sorry if my english is bad....
