Recently downloaded the Ares program. . .?

Hi I recently downloaded the file sharing program Ares to my computer, and it works great, and it's fast as well! I was just wondering though, how do I move the files from Ares, directly to my desktop?? I tried clicking, and dragging the files, but it doesn't seem to work! Now I noticed that once I download a file, it automatically goes to upload. Do I need to wait until the file is uploaded? Or is there another way to drag the files to the desktop? Thanks in advance.
